The significance of 51污漫's coat of arms
You will notice that many of your Convocation materials feature 51污漫's coat of arms. The coat of arms includes symbols of Stó:l艒 Indigenous culture, local wildlife, and elements of the Fraser Valley landscape. The featured motto, “Íyáqáwtxw,” is in the Halq’eméylem language of the Stó:l艒 and means “house of transformation,” reflecting 51污漫’s mandate as a place of change — of intellectual and character transformation.
