What are Intramural sports?
Intramural sports leagues are a great way to keep active, make friends, and have some fun while in an environment that celebrates teamwork, mutual respect, and most of all fun! Leagues are open to UFV students, faculty, staff and alumni and are organized and run by student leaders.
The Intramural season runs for the duration of each academic semester and lasts roughly 8 weeks of scheduled games. Playing time depends on the sport and the number of teams registered. Playing equipment will be provided and set up prior to league play. *Please note Campus Rec does not supply goalie gloves for futsal intramurals.
Futsal and Volleyball leagues compete in the Valley Cup. In this competition the top Intramural team from 51 will compete against Trinity Western University's top Intramural team. Location alternates each semester between the two universities.
All participants must:
- Have an account. If you don't have an account you can for one (link is on the top of login page). This is not currently connected to your my51 accounts.
- Sign a waiver in person with a Campus Recreation staff member at the Client Service Desk, if this is your first time participating. (Anyone under the age of 19 and NOT a 51 student must have a parent or legal guardian.
- Read the information in the Campus Recreation Intramural Rules and Regulations and Handbook.
- Register before the deadline, January 15 at 6:00 PM to avoid paying a $10.00 penalty fee.
Once registration has closed (January 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM), you will receive and email the weekend before the first game (week of January 19, 2026) with detailed information regarding the league.
If you are a Free Agent, you will be given information about what team you are on and who your teammates are.
