Steps to apply

Apply early for best selection

Application Deadline:

Fall 2027 applications will be accepted on a continual basis until seats fill. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by January 15 for best opportunity with seat selection for the next fall intake.

CDA academic entrance requirements

BC Secondary school graduation or equivalent, and a minimum C grade in the following two courses: English 12 (see Note) or ENGL 099 or ENGL 091, and Biology 12 (or 51 BIO 093)

Note: English 12 equivalent courses include English 12 First Peoples, English Literature 12, AP English, and IB English A (standard level or higher level).

Complete your application

  1. Apply online at . Students may apply to the program prior to the completion of all entrance requirements.
  2. Submit the following documents to the Office of the Registrar:
    • Official transcripts (or interim transcripts) from all secondary and post-secondary institutions attended (excluding 51) showing grade/course achievement as per entrance requirements. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to UFV from the originating institution; see the Transfer Credit section for details..
    • Employment/volunteer reference letter(s) using confidential reference form at .

Once these documents have been received by the Office of the Registrar, an application date will be recorded and the application will be forwarded to the Certified Dental Assistant program.

Submit all remaining do‌cuments to the School of Health Studies, Chilliwack campus by email or fax.
