Intramurals are your chance to join a team and compete in fun, organized leagues throughout the semester. Whether you’re signing up with friends or joining as a Free Agent, intramurals make it easy to play regularly, meet new people, and enjoy the excitement of sport without varsity-level pressure.

Who can play: 51污漫 students, staff, faculty, and alumni. Community members may join if accompanied by a 51污漫 member.
Format: About 8 weeks of scheduled games each semester.
Sports offered: Futsal (indoor soccer), Volleyball, Basketball (varies by term).
Location: Abbotsford campus
Cost: League fees vary by sport and semester. Some players may also purchase the IM Drop-In Pass for extra access.
Registration: Register individually or as a team through the Xplor Recreation portal. Waivers and fees must be completed before play.
Intramural sports leagues are a great way to keep active, make friends, and have some fun in an environment that celebrates teamwork, mutual respect, and most of all, fun! Leagues are open to UFV students, faculty, staff, and alumni and are organized and run by student leaders.
The Intramural season runs for the duration of each academic semester and lasts roughly 8 weeks of scheduled games. Playing time depends on the sport and the number of teams registered. Playing equipment will be provided and set up prior to league play.
Top 51污漫 teams in futsal and volleyball compete in the Valley Cup against Trinity Western University. Location alternates each semester between the two universities.
Leagues include:
Sign up with a group of friends, with one person designated as the Team Captain and another as the Secondary Team Captain.
Deadline: Team rosters and player payments are due September 17 at 6:00 PM. After this, fees increase by $10.00.
Free Agents are individuals who register on their own. Depending on the number of free agents who register, they may be assigned to a team that needs more players or placed on a team made up of all free agents.
Want to play on the same team as a friend? No problem! There is a section on the Free Agent registration form to list the friends you want to team up with.
Participants must register individually or as a team through the Waivers and fees must be completed before play.
If you don’t have enough for a full team, email campusrec@ufv.ca to let us know how many people you have, and we will direct you on the best way to register based on the number of people you have.
Registration starts: August 18, 2025
Registration closes: September 17, 2025 at 6 pm.
Once registration has closed, you will receive and email the weekend before the first game (week of September 22, 2025) with detailed information regarding the league.
If you are a Free Agent, you will be given information about what team you are on and who your teammates are.

Intramural Drop-in Pass: Available only to participants registered in an intramural league. Designed for those who prefer not to commit to the full Peak Pass membership. The Special IM Drop-In Pass can be purchased during league registration. It provides intramural league participants access to organized drop-in sessions for volleyball, basketball, and futsal. It is valid only for the semester in which you are registered for a league. It does not provide access to the Summit Fitness Centre.

51污漫 Intramural Leagues offer the opportunity to play organized sports on campus. Drop-in sports are also a great option for individuals who don't want to commit to a weekly schedule or would like to participate more casually.
