How to get your membership

Get started with Campus Recreation

To participate in any of our programs or use our facilities, you'll need an , which you can do by:

  1. Visiting us on site at the Client Service Desk (E150).
  2. Registering for an online course
  3. Visiting the and clicking "Signup"

Getting your recreation membership is quick and easy.

 

Create your Xplor Recreation account

There are three ways to create your Xplor Recreation account:

Option 1: Create your account through the Xplor Recreation portal

  • Go to the
  • Select 'Sign up' at the top of the page
  • Follow the prompts to create your account

Option 2: Create your account in person

Visit the Client Service Desk (E150) and our team can help you create your account.

Option 3: Create your account when registering for a program

Start registering for a program. If you don't have an account, you'll be directed to the login page where you can sign up.

51污漫 students: Your Xplor Recreation account is separate from your 51污漫 login. We recommend using your @student.ufv.ca email address when creating your account.

 

Choose your membership and pay the fees

Choose your recreation membership from our flexible options and pay your fees.

Note: Memberships must be purchased in person at the Client Services desk, E150.

51污漫 Housing resident? Your recreation membership is already included in your Campus Living Fee. Start with option 1 to sign up and save time, or start with option 2 and visit the Client Service Desk (E150) to get started.

Visit us in person * at the Campus Recreation Client Services Desk in Building E (E150) to complete this process:

* If your account was created while registering for a program, you have already completed the program waiver and registration.

Why activate your account in person

Activating your account in person links your Campus Card to your Xplor Recreation account for quick and easy check-in at Campus Recreation.

Note: Activating your account does not activate a membership. Memberships and day passes must be purchased separately.

 

Start using your membership with your campus card

Get moving! Bring your 51污漫 campus card or alumni card and scan it each time you visit. Your card is used to verify your account, so make sure it isn't expired.

Forgot your card? You will be required to pay a $10 drop-in fee.

Don't have your campus card? Visit the Campus Card office.

51污漫 Campus Recreation facilities and programs (leagues, drop-in, and fitness classes) are currently only open to UFV students, employees, and alumni.

Frequently asked questions

Activating your account in person allows us to connect your Campus Card to your Xplor Recreation account. Once linked, you can use your Campus Card for quick and easy check-in at Campus Recreation facilities and programs, and staff can locate your account more efficiently when purchasing memberships or day passes.

Please note that this process does not automatically activate a membership. Memberships and day passes must be purchased separately.

Every time you use the facilities or participate in a Campus Recreation program, you are required to scan your campus card.

When you activate your account in person, it links your campus card to your  account, which will allow you to scan into activities.

You will also be asked to sign a waiver, which will be noted as complete on your account.

Once set up with an activated  account, you will be able make online purchases like Sport League Fees or sign-up Campus Recreation programs that require registration and more.

Note: Memberships are sold in person at the Client Service Desk, E150.

  1. Your 51污漫 Campus Card. Make sure it's not expired!
  2. Your gym attire, because you'll be ready to use Campus Recreation facilities and programs. 

  1. Use an activated or new
    • A membership is not required to register for program online.
    • To register a youth, the parent/guardian will need to make an account for themselves first, then “Add Family Member” under the My Info section.
  2. Once you have created an account, you can see all programs under Activity Registration
