Our projects

Big Brain Literacy Program

Big Brain Literacy Program (BBLP) is a workshop-based initiative that helps students develop practical financial literacy skills and prepare for life after graduation. Through interactive workshops and real-world scenarios, students learn how to budget, save, manage spending, and make informed financial decisions.

BBLP has worked with high school students, Indigenous youth, and international students, providing accessible financial education to diverse communities. Our goal is to give students the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate their financial futures and build a strong foundation for life beyond the classroom.

Fraser Valley AgroConnect

Fraser Valley AgroConnect is a sustainability-focused initiative working to support local agriculture through the development of innovative biochar products. We transform organic waste and responsibly sourced wood into biochar for soil enhancement and cooking, creating sustainable products while helping reduce waste and environmental impact.

Our goal is to improve soil health, support local farmers, and provide restaurants and consumers with sustainable charcoal alternatives. Through partnerships with 51, Indigenous forestry sites, and local agricultural communities, Fraser Valley AgroConnect aims to contribute to a more resilient and sustainable Fraser Valley economy.

Oak & Earth

Oak & Earth is a social enterprise dedicated to helping improve the lives of Indigenous peoples in the Fraser Valley. We market, produce, and sell handcrafted apricot coconut wax candles, then invest a portion of the profits in our partner organization, the Fraser River Indigenous Society (FRIS). This partnership allows us to work closely with the organization to support the Indigenous community.

Our goal is to provide the FRIS with funding and to promote the programs and services they offer to members of their community.
