51 Theatre presents a new adaptation of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, reframed through feminist and narrative-resistant perspectives. This production gives voice to the island and explores how characters awaken to the truths hidden beneath the stories imposed upon them.
Presented by students in the 51 School of Creative Arts’ Acting and Production classes, The Tempest is part of 51 Theatre’s 2026–27 season, which explores themes of climate and sustainability.
