Plans

In 2023 we began the steps to develop an Energy and Climate Resiliency Plan.

This Plan involves:

  • An extensive review of 51's infrastructure and campuses
  • The establishment of energy and climate goals, and
  • Identifying priority actions that can be taken to reach energy and climate goals.

The result will be a reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and an increased resilience to extreme weather events caused by climate change.

The Plan serves as a roadmap for supporting sustainability pan-institutionally.

This Plan will:

  • Identify gaps and opportunities to support new and enhance existing work
  • Establish sustainability targets
  • Establish priority actions, KPIs, monitoring, and reporting,  and
  • Create an annualized action prioritization and implementation framework.

The results will be a more strategic and coordinated approach to a sustainable 51.
